Desert Critters
This page is in honor of my clients Riham and Ahmed who I had the very pleasant priviledge to help find a beautiful home in Chandler when they transferred from the east coast. Riham read quite a bit about our desert creatures and with a toddler she was quite concerned. As it turns out she was introduced up close and personal so I decided it warrants a page and links to detailed information.
We do have desert dwellers and millions of Arizonans live side by side (and have for many, many years years.) But there there are some tips and precautions to learn. There are areas that scorpions, black widows and the infamous rattle snake prefer.
In my 30 years in Arizona, I've seen rattle snakes -- but only in the mountain and desert areas. Scorpions do live among us but there are ways to ensure they stay outside your home. Check out these links for helpful information:
